Senior Payments Compliance Analyst

Location: Columbus, OH (flexible hybrid schedule)

Department: Compliance

Reports To: Payments Compliance Manager

Base Salary: $75,000-$85,000

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree a plus
• Certifications: CRCM preferred, not required
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of compliance experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on payments and consumer regulatory compliance
• Strong understanding of consumer financial laws, including Reg E, UDAAP, GLBA, and BSA/AML

Essential Functions:

• Serve as the subject matter expert on payments-related regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies
• Lead and execute risk assessments related to payments products and services
• Review and advise on marketing, disclosures, and customer communications to ensure regulatory compliance
• Conduct and oversee compliance monitoring and testing activities
• Identify and escalate regulatory risks and partner with business units to implement effective solutions
• Track remediation efforts and validate completion of corrective actions
• Participate in regulatory change management processes and interpret impact on payments products
• Collaborate with Legal, Product, and Risk teams to support new initiatives and ongoing operations

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong working knowledge of consumer protection regulations and payments risk landscape
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to assess risk and provide practical, business-focused compliance guidance
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
