Job Description

We are seeking a results-oriented and highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to drive business development for our construction site restoration, environmental mitigation, and hydroseeding services . In this role, you will identify and pursue new opportunities with general contractors, developers, municipal agencies, civil engineers, and property managers. You’ll be responsible for promoting erosion control, stormwater compliance solutions, site cleanup, hydroseeding, and other post-construction restoration services.

This is a client-facing, territory-based position that requires excellent communication skills, industry knowledge, and a proactive sales mindset. You’ll play a key role in growing our client base while supporting sustainable construction practices and regulatory compliance.

This is a field-based role requiring consistent travel throughout a designated territory to meet clients, attend networking events, and respond to leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively generate new business through cold calling, in-person visits to potential customer jobsites, networking, and referral development.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters, property managers, real estate professionals, general contractors, and commercial property owners.
  • Promote full-scope restoration and mitigation services—including emergency response, demolition, structural repairs, and post-loss reconstruction.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a sales pipeline and track opportunities using companies CRM.
  • Provide timely follow-up on leads and maintain regular client communication.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, association meetings, and local networking events.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and KPIs.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of B2B outside sales experience , preferably in construction, environmental services, landscaping, erosion control, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with contractors, engineers, and site supervisors.
  • Self-motivated, organized and results-oriented with the ability to manage time and territory independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and visiting active construction sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with hydroseeding, erosion control, site restoration, or stormwater compliance services.
  • Working knowledge of construction site operations, environmental regulations, or erosion control practices (SWPPP, BMPs, etc.) is strongly preferred.
  • Background in civil construction, environmental science, or agronomy is a plus.
  • Background in construction sales or project estimating is a plus.
