Job Description

SWA is an award-winning landscape architecture, planning, and urban design firm practicing across the United States and internationally. We are currently seeking talented, design-oriented candidates to fulfill substantial roles in our Dallas, TX studio. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: design, 3D modeling and rendering, producing presentation graphics, preparing construction drawings/documents, project management, coordination with and presentations to clients and consultants, attending and conducting meetings, and travel.

Candidates are required to submit a resume and a portfolio of graphic design skills and previous work. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of work experience with a U.S. based landscape architecture firm.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Strong design skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with: AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Sketch-Up or Rhino
  • Additional experience with the following is highly desirable: Revit, Lumion, Grasshopper, ArcMap/ArcGIS
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully direct the work of junior staff and train entry level designers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to take direction
  • Sense of accountability and self-motivation
  • Positive attitude
