Executive Assistant

The Role : AMG is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Client Solutions management team, based out of the Stamford, Connecticut office. The role will focus primarily on customary administrative responsibilities to include viewing matters of a highly sensitive and confidential nature.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Managing calendars and itineraries, scheduling travel and meeting arrangements, and preparing expense reports through Concur
  • Interfacing and maintaining key relationships with all levels of management and a broad range of external contacts with a high degree of professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Coordinating and organizing internal and external events, including team meetings, conferences, and client engagements
  • Maintaining and updating contacts and records in AMG’s internal tracking systems (e.g., SalesForce CRM)
  • Assisting in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, and follow-up action items
  • Preparation of correspondence, reports, and marketing presentations
  • Perform other project related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Attributes :

  • Three to five years’ experience working in financial services, preferred but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional correspondence and reports
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
  • Excellent telephone/calendar management skills
  • Advanced knowledge Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving and task management
  • Supports AMG values and treats others with respect and consideration
