Superintendent – Multifamily Construction (LIHTC)
Why this role might be worth your time:
You’re a Superintendent who knows the ins and outs of ground-up multifamily builds. You’ve run jobs before, kept schedules tight, subs on track, and owners happy. But maybe you’re looking for something a little more… solid. A team that supports you without micromanaging. Projects that are thoughtfully planned before you’re handed the baton. Leadership that listens when you say, “This won’t work.”
This is that opportunity.
We’re helping a growing developer-builder hire a Superintendent for their multifamily pipeline—think garden-style, 3- to 5-story walk-ups, and similar wood-frame product. If you want to stick-build in the dirt, coordinate the field from start to finish, and actually enjoy the people you’re working with, keep reading.
What you’ll be doing:
• Leading daily site operations on multifamily projects, from groundbreaking to punch list
• Managing subs, vendors, and site crews to keep the job on schedule and on spec
• Coordinating inspections, safety compliance, and quality control on a daily basis
• Working closely with the PM and office team to solve problems fast and keep communication clear
• Representing the project with professionalism in owner/architect/engineer site walks
What makes you a good fit:
• Solid experience as a Superintendent on ground-up multifamily jobs (preferably from start to finish)
• Comfort working with wood-frame construction—Type V and garden-style a plus
• You can read plans like a roadmap and spot issues before they become fires
• You know how to run a site and keep people motivated without shouting
• You’re organized, proactive, and confident leading a jobsite, but not afraid to call for backup when needed
A few extras worth noting:
• Projects are local (or at least regional), so you’re not being asked to live out of a suitcase
• The company has solid financial backing and a healthy pipeline—no wondering what’s next
• You’ll work with a team that respects the field and gives you what you need to win
